Summary. An evaluation carried out in advance of a proposed golf course extension revealed a straight ditch-like feature of indeterminate but possibly early date (Trench 2, F1). The feature lies in the western corner of a large field from which nearby cropmark evidence of linear features and ring ditches has previously been recovered. Two earth mounds of unknown but possibly modern origin were noted and plotted in an adjacent wood.
