Summary.
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the digging of creeks and the breaching of the sea wall at Abbotts Hall Farm, Great Wigborough, Essex, and one previously unrecorded red hill of possible Middle Iron Age date was observed. A probable medieval midden of oystershells was recorded near Salcott.
