Summary. Three groups of World War 2 air-raid shelters at Areas C2 (Napier Road), J1 (Le Cateau Barracks) and P1 (Berechurch Road) of the Garrison Urban Village at Colchester, Essex were surveyed prior to demolition. Six shelters were recorded at Area C2, eleven at Area J1 and seven at Area P1.
