Summary. The evaluation trench was positioned to cross the footprints of two proposed dwellings which are to replace the existing house on the site. No archaeological remains were identified during the evaluation, nor were any finds recovered. The sparsity of the topsoil suggests that the site had been subject to levelling or possibly reduction in the past, most likely at the time when the existing house and the surrounding housing estate were constructed in the second half of the 20th century.
