Summary. This site is located 800m east of Danbury church and the partially- scheduled remains of an Iron Age hill fort. An evaluation by fourteen trenches revealed a post-medieval or modern field boundary, and two pits and a post-hole which probably relate to the site’s recent use as a paddock for horses. There were no finds.
