Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken on the excavation of three permeation trial-pits in advance of the proposed cycle path adjacent to Colchester Road, Wivenhoe, Essex, between Boundary Road and Vine Road. No archaeological features were recorded during the scope of the monitoring.
