Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out during the construction of phase 2 of the Wivenhoe cycle path, Colchester Road, Wivenhoe, located between Boundary Road and Vine Road. Despite being located in an area of known cropmarks including ditched enclosures and trackways, no significant archaeological horizons were identified during the groundworks.
