Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at Nunn’s Road car park during the removal of a tree stump and groundworks for a new retaining wall. The site is located in close proximity to the ditch marking the edge of the Roman fortress of Colonia Victricensis and insula 3 of the Roman town. The remains of a demolished building, dating to the post-medieval or modern period, were uncovered.
