Summary. An archaeological evaluation (two trial-trenches) was carried out at 94 Fairhaven Avenue, West Mersea, Colchester, Essex in advance of the erection of two detached dwellings. Evaluation at this site uncovered a modern pit, an undatable pit and two areas of modern disturbance.
