Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at 4 Park Road in advance of the construction of a new replacement dwelling. Despite being located within an area of known Roman burials and on the route of a possible Roman road leading towards Lexden Dyke, the only features present were an early 19th-century brick wall foundation and soakaway. No trace of the Roman road was present.
