Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording were carried out at 43 Constantine Road, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a single-storey side and rear extension. Despite being located within the area of the Late Iron Age oppidum of Camulodunum and an area of known Roman burials, no significant archaeological remains were observed.
