Summary. An archaeological evaluation (consisting of six trial-trenches) was carried out at Manor House Farm, Brentwood Road, Bulphan, Upminster, Essex in advance of the construction of storage units, a stable yard and six residential dwellings. The evaluation uncovered the remains of a group of 19th-century cow-sheds which formerly stood on this site.
