Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust at St Nicholas Church, Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Maldon during the lowering of the floor of the chapel projecting from the north of the church. Several brick pads, three partially surviving courses of brick and a compact lime mortar surface which was probably original to the chapel were recorded.
