Summary. An archaeological evaluation (one trial-trench) was undertaken on land between 47 and 49 WIckham Road, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a new dwelling. The site is located in the midst of an area of known Roman cemeteries. Despite this, however, no significant archaeological remains were encountered.
