Summary. An archaeological evaluation (one trial-trench) was carried out at Curved Roof House, Stanway Green, Stanway, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a new dwelling with an attached cartlodge. Despite being located in an archaeologically-significant area, no archaeological remains were uncovered at the site.
