Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out at 75-85 Maidenburgh Street, Colchester, Essex, during groundworks for a patio and a dwarf wall. Only a modern posthole was recorded, as excavations did not extend beyond modern layers. Some residual Roman pottery and CBM were recovered, however.
