Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at 1 The Paddock, Stock,Ingatestone, Essex during the construction of two single-storey side extensions and a single storey front extension. A new driveway was also created. No significant archaeological remains were found during the groundworks, despite being in a village which had a thriving pottery industry from the 16th to 19th centuries.
