Summary.
A programme of historic building recording was carried out by Colchester Archaeological trust on a brick-built threshing-barn north of Cooper's Farm, Nedging-with-Naughton in November 2021.
The threshing barn is located within a conservation area to the north of Cooper's Farmhouse, a Grade II Listed building that can be dated to at least the 17th century. The barn is 19th-century an brick-built with several later outbuildings attached. An original clay yard wall was surviving and had been incorporated into these outbuildings.
