Summary. An archaeological evaluation (one trial-trench) was carried out on land at 1a Boadicea Way, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a new dwelling. Evaluation uncovered a post-medieval field boundary ditch shown on the 1st edition OS map and the remains of a modern fence post.
