Summary. A programme of historic building recording was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust at Mill Farm, Burton Road, Thurston, Suffolk in May 2024. The recorded structure comprises a small threshing barn with two outbuildings, which cartographic evidence indicates were constructed between 1839 and 1883. The main building material used for the buildings is unprocessed flint nodules, laid in lime mortar and with red brick dressings. The threshing barn appears to be a replacement of an earlier barn, which is possibly where reused timbers within the structure are from.
