Multi-user games
- One of the things that is currently receiving a great deal of thought
is the use of VRML as the basis of multi-user networked games.
- We've been looking into this a little by attempting to produce a
shared, VRML 2 version of the classic adventure game.
- There are similarities between this and the previous examples,
since the rooms and objects are generated on the fly on the basis of
information stored in a "database."
- The same database allows textual descriptions to be produced, so
that text-based players can compete with those having a VRML view.
