Summary. Observation of groundworks was undertaken for a new side and rear extension to the existing bungalow as the site lies within the south-eastern corner of Lexden Heath (MCC9144) and backs onto the earthwork known as Heath Farm Dyke Middle (MCC2095). Despite this, nothing of archaeological significance was found.
